1. Exercise and Injury History

The first step is to sit down with the Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist to have an informal chat about your injury history and exercise pursuits.

2. Flexibility and strength assessment

The second stage of the assessment is to measure your strength and flexibility which will assist us in providing you with a personalised strength and stretching program, targeting any muscle imbalances you may have.














Treadmill analysis

3. Treadmill analysis

The next step is to film you walking and/or running on a treadmill. The video is then analysed using the latest gait analysis software (Silicon coach). This software is used to assess the dynamic function of your feet, knees, hips, lower back and upper body.









4. Pressure Plate Analysis

The last stage of the assessment is to walk and/or run across our state of the art foot pressure analysis plate. This information allows us to evaluate the distribution of pressure across your foot whilst running and/ walking. This assessment identifies poor foot and lower limb mechanics that may contributing to your injury It is also from this assessment we can give you several recommendations as to what is the most appropriate footwear for your chosen activity Pressure Plate Analysis
